I love salsa it goes with all Mexican food and is a great accompaniment for any savory snack. This salsa recipe adds the perfect spicy kick to any dish.
- 1 400g tin of tomatoes
- 3 fresh chillies
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- Tabasco sauce to taste
- ½ juice of a lime
- 2 teaspoons of dried parsley
Add the tin of tomatoes, salt, pepper, Tabasco sauce, lime juice and parsley to a food processor.
Tip To spice things up try different combination of chillies, I love adding a scotch bonnets.
Finely dice the chillies and garlic, and roughly chop the onion and add to the rest of the ingredients in the food processor.
Blitz for a few seconds and the pour into a seal tight container and store in the fridge (it will last for a couple of weeks).
Tip If you like your salsa recipe smoother blitz it for longer.
